On Tuesdays (the day I was able to reserve the computer lab) we will be working on developing our skill set with online video editing programs.


Our first online video software and website is called Animoto.


When you hit the site (see link below) you are to create an account, and then spend the rest of the class creating an Animoto short video.

Visit this link on camera angeles and camera shots.  You need to be familiar with them all in regards to how they are done and what effect they have.


Working with a partner and while watching CNN  Student News (again) make a list of every camera angle & shot that you see.

Assignment for 02.10.2011


Using your laptop & web camera & video editing software, please create a 30 second (minimum) video sharing your  thoughts, concerns, & expectations about going to high school. 


Note: You may not use any music for this video.


Edit your video to include the following:


  1. •An introductory slide containing your name and what high school you are thinking about attending.


  1. •Include at least 2 captions in your video.


  1. •Include at least 2 still images in your video.
