Day 1 - Washington, D.C.

Learn about the Smithsonian Institution during an introduction by your tour director


Visit your choice of the Smithsonian's museums, which may include:

  1. •National Air and Space Museum

  2. •National Museum of Natural History

  3. •National Museum of African Art

  4. •National Museum of American History

  5. •Smithsonian American Art Museum

  6. •National Portrait Gallery


Take a night tour of Washington:

  1. •Lincoln Memorial

  2. •WWII Memorial

  3. •Korean War Veterans Memorial

Day 2 - Washington, D.C.

Take a guided tour of Washington:

  1. •Arlington National Cemetery

  2. •Marine Corps War Memorial

  3. •Washington Monument

  4. •Vietnam Veterans Memorial

  5. •FDR Memorial


Make a photo stop at the White House


Visit Mount Vernon


Enjoy an evening activity

Day 3 - Washington, D.C. and New York City

Visit Capitol Hill:

  1. •U.S. Capitol* and Visitor Center

  2. •U.S. Supreme Court

  3. •Library of Congress*


Travel to New York


Visit the Empire State Buildling


*Please note: You must make your own arrangements for visiting inside these buildings.

Day 4 - New York City

Take a guided tour of New York:

  1. •Times Square

  2. •Central Park

  3. •Greenwich Village and SoHo

  4. •World Trade Center Site


Visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art


Attend a Broadway Show

Day 5 - New York City

Visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island:

  1. •Marvel at the 151-foot model engineered by Alexandre Gustav Eiffel, of Eiffel Tower fame

  2. •Explore the Ellis Island Immigration Museum


Depart for home

Program Fee: $1,510

The program fee is the base cost of your tour. Other fees will be added to it including departure fees (subject to change), optional add-on charges or additional coverage fees. You will see a complete breakdown of anticipated costs during the enrollment process.
